Inclined Plane

My simple machine is an inclined plane. It makes jobs easier for people. It is a slanted surface connecting a lower level to a higher level. It helps things move up and down easier. Some examples of this machine are slides, ramps, stairs, ladders, and roofs. Any body can use stairs or people in wheelchairs use ramps. Please ask us about inclined planes.

Pulleys

Pulleys make jobs easier and faster because they pick up heavy objects. The pulley has a wheel with a grove in it so the rope can fit on the wheel and pick up an object. It picks up the attached object and moves it to where it has to go. Some examples are a flagpole, crane, boat, mini blinds, and elevators. Construction workers, people who have mini blinds, boats, and elevators. Do you have any other questions about pulleys? Sincerely,
Lis and Morg.

Wheel and Axle

Some simple machines make work easier like a wheel and axle.  A special kind of wheel is a gear that has bumps around its edge.  It looks like a circle, wheel, with rod called an axle through its center, both parts move together.  This machine, the wheel and axle, lifts or moves loads. Some examples of this machine are a car, wagon, door knob, pencil sharpener, bike, clock, screwdriver, faucet handles, and a bucket in a well. All kinds of people like adults and kids use wheels and axles.  Even a famous skateboarder like Tony Hawke uses wheels and axles.  If you have any question please blog us.Sincerely,Zero, the Warden, and Jeeny Been
